This is one of the few grapes that really evokes blueberries, rather than all the other berries of the world. Imagine blueberry pie, right from the oven with some fruit bubbling over the crust and browning a bit. Swirl your glass and inhale deeply and you will get all the blueberry and baking spice that this wine has to offer. On the palate, the blue fruit will persist into a long, enjoyable finish with a touch of tannin following the fruit.
